Off at odds of 11-1, Dreamadreamforme posted the quickest mile of three divisions for the Prospect Series Three-Year-Old Filly Pace third preliminary on Saturday (Aug. 1) at Georgian Downs.

Driver Anthony Haughan sent Dreamadreamforme to the lead from the pylon post, setting a clip of :27.1, :56.3 and 1:25.4 while only enduring final-turn pressure from Little Mary. Into the stretch, the Jack Darling trainee strolled to a two-and-a-quarter length score in 1:54.4 over race-favourite Satdnite Jukebox. P L Nelly rallied from second over for third.

Owned by Jack Darling Stables Ltd., Dreamadreamforme won her second race from six starts this season and her fourth from 13 overall, earning $29,929. The filly by Betterthancheddar paid $24.60 to win.

Hallsglensmavis won the opening division also in wire-to-wire fashion, delivering as the 4-5 favourite with a 1:55 mile.

Leading past a :28 first quarter, Hallsglensmavis raced uncontested to a :57.3 half but faced a challenge from Highland Salsa nearing three-quarters in 1:27. The Murray Breathour trainee rebuffed Highland Salsa into the stretch as Southwind Bayou readied a rally out of the pocket. Hallsglensmavis clung to command to the finish to hold off Southwind Bayou by a head while Hidden View closed for third.

A three-year-old filly by Thinking Out Loud, Hallsglensmavis won her second race from seven starts this season and her third from 18 overall, earning $28,289. Austin Sorrie steered the $3.80 winner for owner Krista Thomas.

Century Gianna battled for the lead late in the mile but held firm at the finish to narrowly take the final Prospect division, winning with a 1:55.3 mile.

Starting from the pylon post, Century Gianna protected position to lead the field through early fractions of :28 and :57.4. However into the backside P L Notorious rolled uncovered to match strides with the pacesetter approaching three-quarters in 1:26.1. Taking a narrow lead around the final turn, P L Notorious lost the lead in the stretch as Century Gianna surged back to the lead and landed a nose in front on the finish. Chasethecloudsaway, off a pocket trip, took third.

Owned by Blair Corbeil, Frank Chiaravalloti and Paul Gazzola, Century Gianna won her second race from nine starts this season and her third from 16 overall, earning $37,968. Scott Young drove the $4.40 winner for trainer Robert Young.
