Track Records Broken At St Aime

Track records on both the pace and the trot were broken Saturday, August 12 on the nine-race program at St Aime Des Lacs.

Winning the $2,500 Invitational Trot by five lengths, Mr Logan Mirox, a three-year-old colt by Mr Lavec from the Cr Commando mare Devilish Miss, lowered the track record for three-year-old trotting colts in his 2:05.3 victory, beating the previous mark of 2:07.2 set by Holiday Gift. Owned, trained, and driven by Michel Audet, he paid $15.20.

Vinnie Bobarino, a three-year-old gelding by Skydancer Hanover from the Cape Crusader mare Venturi Effect, lowered the previous mark of 2:02.1 set by Mission Earth when he won a $1,200 conditioned pace in 2:00.4 by six lengths. Owned by driver Yves Ringuet with partner Jonathan Dupuis, he paid $10.20 to win.
