Morosita Bi won the $9,000 featured trot on Saturday, August 12 at Tioga Downs.
Can Do charged for the lead and set splits of :28.3, :58.3, 1:27.1. Morosita Bi, the only mare in the race, followed from the the pocket before taking the lead at the top of the stretch, winning in 1:56.1. Can Do held on for second with Bjanthony taking third.
Leased and trained by Bruce Clarke, Morosita Bi won her fourth straight, doing so in 1:56.1. Jim Meittinis drove the seven-year-old to her 37th win in her career. She paid $6.90.
Tioga Downs returns to live action Sunday, August 13 with a 15-race card starting at 1:00pm. The card features the Empire Breeders Classic eliminations for both sophomore pacing fillies and eliminations for their counterpart, colts and geldings. Also on the card are NYSS freshman trotting fillies.
