Three new lifetime marks stole the show in the Atlantic Sires Stakes 'A' divisions on Monday afternoon at Red Shores Charlottetown.

The fastest of the four divisions came in Race 7 when Rancousy picked up his second straight victory and fourth in his last five starts. The Darren Crowe trainee wired the field from Post 4 laying down fractions of :28.4, :58.1 and 1:26.4 before stopping the tele-timer in a lifetime best 1:55.4.

The Western Paradise - Too Spicy For You colt is owned by Don Smith of Brookside, N.S. With the victory, Rancousy pushes his three-year-old earnings to over 20,000. Just A Professor finished second and Woodmere Artisan was third.

Hollywoodgigolo knocked the Atlantic Sire Stakes monkey off of his back picking up a pocket sitting victory by a neck for owner Scott Dunn.

Mike Stevenson bladed the Ameripan Gigolo gelding off the wings and dropped him into the two-hole behind fraction setter Settlement Request, before nailing him on the line in a lifetime best 1:57.4. Settlement Request hung on for second after cutting clockings of :29.3, :58.1 and 1:27.3. J Ps Warrior finished third.

Driver Gilles Barrieau worked out a masterful drive aboard his own trainee Tobins Fusion in the 11th race. Leaving from Post 5, Barrieau fired his charge off of the wings before taking back into the four spot and watching a battle ensue as Touch Of Lightning and Earl Smith insisted on the lead. Barrieau moved out past the five-eighths and made a late charge nailing Touch Of Thunder on the line in a lifetime best 1:58.1.

Race 9, the only 'A' division that didn't end in a lifetime mark was won by the Maritime Breeders Champion Arties Magic and driver Todd Trites. The Earl Watts trainee left off the gate from the rail and watched an early battle between Rebelseven and Dumas Walker unfold. Myles Heffernan dropped Dumas Walker back into the three spot before moving back out and attacking first over. Island Gigolo moved out late for catch-driver Barrieau but Arties Magic used the passing lane to win by a nose in 1:58.2 for owners Windemere Farms and Clive Balderston.

Four divisions of 'B' colts lined up with Tyron My Gigolo, Pictonian Storm, Come On Gigolo and N Expense picking up victories. It was a big day for stallion Ameripan Gigolo, winning four of the 11 races on the card.

Driver Marc Campbell took a trip down memory lane in the second, winning with the 11-year-old Rebelryan in 2:00.1 picking up his 55th lifetime victory for owner - trainer Kevin Maclean. Over half of those victories have come with Campbell in the driver's seat.
