Lets Wait And See converted a perfect pocket trip into a Friday the 13th feature win, taking Grand River Raceway's $11,500 Preferred 2 Handicap Pace with Travis Henry catch-driving.

Trained by Scott Friend and owned by Tyler Friend, Lets Wait And See secured a pocket trip behind Swellendam through fractions of :27.2, :57.4 and 1:26.3. While their competitors fanned wide coming off the final turn, Lets Wait And See shot up the inside lane to prevail in 1:55 flat by three-quarters of a length. Single White Sock advanced first-over and edged out Swellendam at the finish for the runner-up honours.

Sent postward at odds of 5-1, Lets Wait And See paid $12.70 to win while favourite Adore Him broke stride at the start and was a non-factor.

The seven-year-old Shadow Play gelding has hit the board in 10 of his 16 seasonal starts and now boasts 24 career wins with $205,771 in purse earnings.
