Tuesday's card at Red Shores Summerside featured Atlantic Sires Stakes action for both freshman and sophomore trotters.

The fastest of the three $6,400 splits for the two-year-old trotters went to Play Along. The son of Tad The Stud - Players Champion looks to be a shrewd $3,000 yearling purchase for owner-trainer-driver Trevor Easter, as the rookie was a nine-plus length winner in a time of 2:05.4 -- more than three seconds (or 15 lengths) better than the next quickest elimination winner.

Also winning ATSS two-year-old divisions were Windemerepartyman for driver Jack Panting and trainer Ralph Annear in 2:09, and Wicked Nick for trainer-driver Gary Chappell in 2:09.2.

Mr Bower was best among the three-year-old trotters, taking his $8,820 division in a lifetime best 2:02.1 for trainer-driver Ken Arsenault and owner Wade Peconi of Stanchel, PEI.

Panting & Annear had a stakes double on the card, connecting with 46-1 longshot Dunmore Ace in the second ATSS sophomore division by virtue of a 2:07.2 tally.
