Driver Bruce Aldrich, Jr. had a field day when it came to winning races during the Tuesday matinee at Monticello Raceway.
Aldrich swept the Daily Double thanks to wins with Perfect Raider ($9.00 - 2:01.2) and My Man Ben ($5.80 – 2:02.3) before returning to victory lane in Race 5 with Lenny Mac ($4.80 – 1:59.4). He then clicked with Shark Treasure ($6.90 – 1:57.1) in Race 7 before coming right back to capture Race 8 with Excel Nine ($4.00 – 1:55.3).
The six-win performance pushed his 2015 win total to 336 while his lifetime number climbed to 5,701. He’s already racked up in excess of $1.5 million in earnings this year and more than $20 million to date.
