Favourites Flying Isa N ($3.10) and Stonebridge Beach ($4.50) delivered on their pari-mutuel promises in this week's Preferred events at Rideau Carleton Raceway, featured back-to-back on the rainy Sunday night program.

Trained by Yves Tessier for owner Francois Morin, Flying Isa N was a repeat winner in the $8,100 Preferred Handicap Trot. The 10-year-old Pegasus Spur gelding assumed command after the first quarter and held off Neon Lights by a half-length at the end of the 1:57 mile for his 31st career victory. Early leader Pasadena Star finished one and a half lengths behind in third.

Following a narrow loss last week, Stonebridge Beach and trainer/driver Stephane Pouliot converted off a pocket trip to win the $8,550 pacing division, downing front-stepper Atomic Million Am by one and a half lengths in 1:54.3. The five-year-old Mach Three gelding, who has won 15 races in his career, is owned by 9096 9205 Quebec Inc. and Meadowgem Farm Inc. Print Media finished third over National Debt nearly four lengths behind.
