Off to a chart-topping start to the season at Truro Raceway, trainer Wayne Merner added to his meet-leading win total during Sunday's harness racing card with another three victories.
Pasta Vera ($2.30) and Hardy Mill Stable's Mach Raiser ($4.40) gave Merner back-to-back wins on the card in the seventh and eighth races while Secret Fantasy ($4.20) later inherited a victory in the 12th race finale after Dr Ds Escape prevailed by a quarter-length but was set back to fifth for causing interference to another horse past the five-eighth mark.
The Bible Hill, N.S. horseman leads all Truro trainers so far this season with nine wins.
Adam Merner drove all three winners.
