The Woodbine Entertainment Group is reminding all visitors to Mohawk Racetrack to take time and check out the new wall-sized pictorial collage of
the great Somebeachsomewhere inside the main entrance to the grandstand.
The Maritime-owned and trained pacing colt shattered four world speed records and was defeated only once during his 21-race career for conditioner Brent MacGrath and driver Paul MacDonell. A two-time O'Brien Award winner, Somebeachsomewhere banked over $3.3 million in his career and completely engaged the sport in his two-year reign.
The Somebeachsomewhere tribute wall also features an adjacent kiosk, which houses a computer and touch screen. Touch the screen and you can select any one of Somebeachsomewhere’s 21 races on demand, and watch it on the flat screen TV above.
