Back in action off a three-month layoff, Make Some Luck found the pylons late and shot through to win the $11,500 Preferred 2 & 3 Handicap featured on Sunday night's harness racing card at Flamboro Downs.

Make Some Luck overcame an outside post position and overland route, shooting through the passing lane in the homestretch to catch late-leader Lets Wait And See at the wire with Jody Jamieson working out the winning trip.

Trained by Jamieson's wife Stephanie, Make Some Luck boasts a perfect two-for-two record competing at Flamboro, with a prior victory over the Dundas half-mile oval in December last year. Jamieson shares ownership of the six-year-old Camluck gelding with Rene Allard.

Sent postward as the 7-1 third choice on the toteboard, Make Some Luck prevailed by three-quarters of a length in 1:54.1 and returned $17.90 to win.

The win was his 23rd lifetime and pushed his earnings to $413,737.
