Reigning New Brunswick Horse of the Year Fall Bliss improved his seasonal record to three-for-three on Saturday (May 27) winning the $1,600 Winners Over top class in 2:00.3 at Exhibition Park Raceway.

The nine-year-old son of Blissfull Hall wired a three-horse field to remain unbeaten this year for driver Dr. Mitchell Downey and trainer/owner Michael Downey. Fall Bliss has now won 36 races lifetime, including 11 of his 21 starts during his award-winning 2016 campaign.

On the same card, EPR's top driver Todd Trites won three of the afternoon's five races with Real Bigg (1:59.4) for trainer Harold DeFazio, Best Escape Route (2:04.4) for Robert MacNeil, and Choco Du Ruisseau (2:06.2) for Tina Woods.

The New Brunswick Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association would like to thank the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission for allowing a motion to race smaller fields until the horse population grows, making it possible to keep bringing the fans to the track for the action, proven by another great crowd this past Saturday.
