Moulton Optimistic About Belleville

According to a report by mix97.com, National Capital Region Harness Horse Association executive director Russ Moulton is still optimistic about live racing coming to Belleville

.

The report cites Moulton as saying that he is hopeful a meeting between Ontario Lottery and Gaming and Baymount Inc. this week will bring results for the proposed track. The report also conveys that Moulton believes there will be racing at the old Quinte Exhibition this summer.

In terms of the proposed New Quinte Exhibition and Raceway, Moulton was quoted as saying Baymount needs to “raise three million bucks and pay off debentures that are held against the property and then 'away it goes.'"

When will the sharade come to an end in belleville, now even you mr moulton have been dragged into the lies being spun by Baymount. Come clean and tell the truth the horsemen of belleville have been on a leadshank being held by baymount for far too long. The old facility was deemed unfit three years ago who is going to stick money into it for a 17 race schedule which surprise has not even been applied for. Next question where have these new expenses on this land for the new track come from. Stop the lies, stop the deception and someone remove Baymount from the picture, give the politics a rest and get the people of quinte region back a facility to race at
