Posts Drawn For Camluck Classic

The field for the Inaugural $150,000 Camluck has been drawn and it was Sunfire Blue Chip drawing the coveted rail position while Bit Of A Legend, winner of last year’s signature race (formerly the Molson Pace), will leave right in behind from the trailing post 8.

Evenin Of Pleasure, the London oval’s track record holder (1:50.3 in the 2016 edition) has drawn post 6 for the brother-sister tandem of driver Joe Bongiorno and trainer Jenn Bengionorno. The son of Dragon Again will enter the Camluck Classic off two straight crushing victories against Open company at Yonkers Raceway.

Easy Lover Hanover, who had a nine-race win streak snapped this past Saturday night at Mohawk Park, has drawn post 5 for trainer Ben Wallace while this year’s Cinderella Horse Isitfridayyet, who was a last minute entrant, will start from post 2.

More than $500,000 in purses will be offered up on the 12-race program which will get underway at 6:55 p.m. The complete draw for Saturday night’s program will be held on Tuesday morning and will feature a powerful undercard which includes the Ontario Sires Stakes Gold divisions for three-year-old pacing fillies.

A quartet of City of London Series finals will also be contested that night with more than $100,000 up for grabs for three-year-old colts and fillies on both the trot and pace.
