Sources close to the Mohawk Racetrack / Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Elimination draw "postponement" have given Trot Insider an update as to why there has been a delay.
Trot Insider has learned that the elims for three-year-old pacing colts will not be drawn until the results of an appeal is known. The Eliminations, to be contested Saturday, May 17, are expected to feature the 2008 pari-mutuel debut of Somebeachsomewhere.
So far ten dashes have been drawn for Mohawk Racetrack's May 17 card of racing. Click here to view the draw, minus the OSS races.
This afternoon, the Woodbine Entertainment Group issued a press release stating that the draw for the Saturday, May 17 card had been "postponed." No reason was given for the delay, but the WEG release did indicate that further information would be released.
