Harness racing trainers and drivers reveal how they would like to be introduced during post parade in this week's Standardbred Canada video feature.

While Trot Insider has been soliciting answers on this question since January, a few participants also mentioned this as an idea to enhance the racetrack experience in May's 'Game Changers' issue of Trot Magazine.

If tracks played a theme song during post parade, which song would you choose for your introduction (or the introduction of your horses)? Share your #postparadethemesong picks with @TrotInsider on Twitter.

(Note: If you are having difficulty loading the SC Video Features in HD quality, you can adjust the settings to a lower quality and quicker web stream by clicking on the red 'HD' symbol near the right hand corner of the video.)

Would have to be "Break My Stride" by Matthew Wilder. A distant second would be "On The Road Again" by Willie Nelson.

The jargon used in the whole call of the race whether in the US or Canada is virtually the same as it has been for 50 years. In seeking a younger demographic then things need to be modernized to attract new fans. When they pan the crowd at a Jays game most of the faces are young and there are no slots in the stadium. They have made a visit to the dome a happening experience. Theme songs are a great idea but as you can see from the opinions on the video everyone would have the same one (or two).
