Best Show In Town wired up the foes he faced in Sunday’s $12,100 Preferred at Rideau Carleton Raceway, and in doing so he pushed his win streak to four-in-a-row for

trainer Gerard Demers.

With Guy Gagnon at the controls, Best Show In Town powered to the early lead from his pole position perch and proceeded to lay down panels of :27.2, :57.3 and 1:26.4 before stepping home in :28.2 to seal the deal in 1:55.1. Red Leaf Again sat the pocket trip throughout and held for the runner-up award. Whistling Hanover took home the show dough in the seven-horse affair.

The seven-year-old son of Grinfromeartoear, who races for 9174 7998 Quebec Inc. of Blainville, QC, has assembled a 7-3-1 record in his first 12 starts of the season. The lion’s share of the purse bumped the 39-time winner’s lifetime bankroll to $324,536.
