Bestulldotanite showed no mercy to the seven foes she squared off with in Thursday’s $8,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 at Flamboro Downs, and in doing so she visited the winner’s circle for the fourth time this season.

With Bruce Richardson at the controls, Bestulldotanite marched to the lead from Post 3 before relinquishing the top spot very briefly to Country Delight. That mare chopped out the first quarter in :27.4 before Bestulldotanite came right back around to reclaim the position of command.

Bestulldotanite then rolled through middle splits of :57.3 and 1:26.3 before using a :29.1 closing panel to win by 3-1/4 lengths over Country Delight in 1:55.4. Third prize went to a rallying Eat Me Up.

Sent off as the 3-1 fourth choice in the wagering, the six-year-old daughter of Geartogear-Naomi Seelster won for the 18th time in her career. Bob Ellis trains the career winner of $88,285 for JJS Stables of Grand Valley, Ontario.
