Late Night closed out the Sunday night (April 30) harness racing card at Flamboro Downs winning the featured $11,000 Preferred 2 & 3 Handicap Pace.

Moving off the WEG Circuit for the first time this year, Late Night won his Flamboro debut with Anthony MacDonald driving for trainer Mike Brealey and owner Bay Street Bulls LP.

Mac Raider (Billy Davis Jr.) led the field through fractions of :27.4, :57.3 and 1:26.4 while Jimmy Be Good (Bob McClure) challenged first-up, but Late Night launched off cover turning for home and defeated those foes by three lengths in 1:56.4.

Late Night paid $8.20 to win as the 3-1 third choice on the toteboard.

The five-year-old Art Major gelding earned his second win of the year from 14 starts and 10th victory lifetime.
