Odds On Aventure won a thrilling stretch battle with four other horses to capture her fourth consecutive victory in Wednesday night’s $25,000 featured pace for mares at Pocono Downs

.

Odds On Aventure was taking a step up in class to the winners of over $25,000 condition, which explains why she was the longest shot on the board at 8-1 in the field of six. Leaving from Post 4, the mare from the barn of Scott DiDomenico made a first-over move on the front stretch to take on the leader, Mud Pie Hanover.

Those two horses were still battling it out in the stretch and were joined by three others who came up on both sides. Odds On Aventure, with Tyler Buter in the bike, gutted it out despite the tough trip and won by a head in 1:51:1, a new career-best time. Mud Pie Hanover settled for a game second, while Ticket To Rock came on for the show.

Odds On Aventure, a six-year-old mare sired by Camluck, now is a perfect 4-for-4 for the DiDomenico barn since she was claimed for $15,000 by Jay Spector, Daniel Kiwak and Triple D Stables. With six wins this season and 16 lifetime, the mare now has career earnings of $153,413.
