Quinte Exhibition and Raceway president Doug Rollins has given an update on the situation regarding 2009 race dates at the old Quinte Raceway
.
According to a report by mix97.com, Rollins has said that the ball is now in the court of the Ontario Racing Commission regarding the fate of 17 proposed dates of live racing for 2009.
The article goes on to say that the track doesn't meet current standards, and meeting them could be expensive. Rollins has apparently stated that it's a 50-50 chance whether the ORC will approve the meet.
