Triple millionaire Arch Madness, the richest Canadian-sired trotter in harness racing history, crushed a field of eight rivals with a seven length romp in the $30,000 Invitational at Meadowlands Racetrack on Friday evening

.

In Focus (Ron Pierce) fired off the gate from the outside post position to establish the early lead ahead of post two starter Arch Madness and trainer-driver Trond Smedshammer. However, Arch Madness made his move early and swept to command as they raced past the first quarter pole in :29-seconds. The trotting titan left his foes chasing him the rest of the way through fractions of :57 and 1:24.1 en route to a seven length triumph in 1:52.2. Hot Shot Blue Chip (John Campbell) came on for second over In Focus.

The 1-2 favourite paid $3 to win for the third consecutive time. After finishing third in his season's debut at Harrah's Chester, Arch Madness won the Open there and score back-to-back victories in the Meadowlands' Invite last weekend and tonight. Friday's win was his 30th lifetime and the lion's share of the purse lifted his bankroll to $3,318,988.

The homebred eight-year-old Balanced Image-Armbro Archer gelding is owned by Marc Goldberg and Willow Pond LLC of New York.
