Tight Lines continued his perfect four-year-old campaign in the third round of the Yonkers Raceway/SOA of NY Bonus Trotting Series on Tuesday night (April 18) while Windsong Magic doubled up as part of a multiple-win night for driver Jason Bartlett.
Trained and driven by Jeff Gregory, Tight Lines ($2.30) trotted out the to the lead from post six and cruised through fractions of :29.2, :58.2 and 1:27.2 en route to the first and fastest series win of the night in 1:56 flat, matching his season's mark that he took in last week's leg. Gregory also shares ownership of the Yankee Glide gelding, who is now four-for-four on the year and the only three-leg winner of the series, with Jesmeral Stable and William Richardson. Ameliosi, a round two champ, followed two and a quarter lengths behind off a pocket trip.
