After missing the start of Auckland Cup week due to a minor flesh wound in his fetlock, Auckland Reactor will make his racing return this Friday in the
$600,000 Trillian Trust Auckland Cup at Alexandra Park.
‘The Reactor’, who is the heavy favourite going into the Cup, has drawn the outside Post 8 in the nine-horse affair with trainer and co-owner Mark Purdon set to drive once again.
A winner of 19 races in 20 starts and over $500,000, Auckland Reactor, who was purchased for about $3.5 million (US), has been the talk of the town in New Zealand.
