Following the March 11 mandatory payout on Woodbine Racetrack's Jackpot Hi-5, the new pool has continued to climb over the past three weeks.

After 3-5 favourite Artistic Madison led the 3-9-1-7-6 winning combination for Friday night's Jackpot Hi-5 wager in the 10th race finale that was selected by multiple horseplayers, the carryover for Saturday's card climbed to $76,759.58.

Driver Doug McNair capped off a three-win night steering six-year-old pacing mare Artistic Madison wire-to-wire in 1:56.2 over the sloppy track for trainer Isaac Waxman. In a scramble for the runner-up honours, Just Blitzed (Louis-Philippe Roy, 36-1) came through between horses off a ground-saving trip to finish ahead of Call It Courage (Randy Waples, 8-1), who closed from second-over. Call Me Maybe (James MacDonald, 5-1) also came on from the outer flow to finish fourth while pocket-sitter HP Sissy (Mario Baillargeon, 7-1) rounded out the top five finish order.

A winning $1 based wager paid $6,910.90 while a 20-cent ticket returned $1,382.18.
