Trot Insider spoke with driver Paul MacDonell this morning about his public training trip last Saturday at Truro Raceway with O'Brien Award winner Somebeachsomewhere.

"He's right on schedule," MacDonell said about the three-year-old Mach Three colt. "I went a mile in 2:05 with him and he was pretty handy. I didn't go a hard mile with him, just tightened him up a little bit."

"We came a back half in about 59 [seconds] and he was doing it on his own - just breezing," explained MacDonell, who estimated that there could've been over 100 people taking in the mile at Truro.

"His physique has changed," said MacDonell. "He has grown up, if you can believe that. He's just got more horse to him. He looks great and his coat is shining. [Co-owner / trainer Brent MacGrath] done a great job with him."

MacGrath told Trot Insider last month that the World Record holder will be shipping to Ontario in mid-April in preparation for the first Ontario Sires Stakes Gold event at Mohawk Racetrack in mid-May.
