In control through fractions of :58 and 1:27.3, War Filly faced first-over pressure around the final turn from On The Minute Mark, while Big Lis fanned wide off her cover circling into the stretch. Driver Robert Shepherd directed Drivingthedragon N to the inside of War Filly to snag victory in 1:58.1. War Filly held second with On The Minute Mark third.
