When Dave Palone gets career win 15,000 at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, one of his biggest fans will be there to congratulate him

Herve Filion holds the North American harness racing record of 15,180 career victories -- the mark Palone is chasing -- and will join the 15,000 watch. Filion plans to be in the winner's circle to celebrate with Palone when he reaches the career milestone.
Filion told The Meadows he’s pulling for Palone and hopes to return to offer his congratulations when Palone breaks his record. During this week, the gracious champion also will appear on Meadows Live! with Roger Huston.
Palone, a Hall of Famer and No. 2 on the all-time North American victory list, enters Monday’s card with 14,994 wins and has nine scheduled drives. Meadows Live! begins at 12:30 p.m. and first post is at 12:55 p.m.
