According to a story on canoe.ca, a disgruntled slots player at Georgian Downs is suing the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) for more than $45 million following a situation that he referred to as a “nightmare.”

Pawel Kusznirewicz, who was playing a 'Buccaneer' machine on December 8, 2008, claims he wasn’t paid off when the machine he was playing started making sounds and began to flash. He claims the machine displayed a payoff of $42.9 million.

OLG staff claimed the machine had malfunctioned, and no payment was made. Pictures of the machine were taken before it was turned off. An OLG supervisor gave Kusznirewicz four complimentary meals at the casino’s buffet.
