Walter Parkinson of Seelster Farms has announced that a second lawsuit will soon be filed in relation to the scrapping of Ontario’s Slots at Racetracks Program.

A group of Ontario breeders filed a Notice of Action on Monday (March 11) against the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for damages arising out of the manner in which the Slots at Racetracks Program was cancelled. The lawsuit claims "damages in the amount of $60,000,000 for negligence, negligent and/or intentional misrepresentation, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment" in addition to "punitive, aggravated, and exemplary damages in the amount of $5,000,000."
