Since the calendar flipped over from 2017 to 2018, there’s been no touching the talented trotter Dunbar Hall.

The four-year-old son of Deweycheatumnhowe-Debbie Hall sped to another impressive victory in a high-end conditioned event Monday evening at Woodbine Racetrack, and in doing so he improved this year’s record to 3-for-3 for Team Jamieson.

Dunbar Hall was put into play early by driver Jody Jamieson, who had the heavily-favoured gelding parked and pressing race leader Warrawee Shipshape at the quarter pole in :27.4. Dunbar Hall swept past that foe as the field headed toward the backstretch and from there the public’s top choice cruised through middle splits of :57 and 1:25.4. A :28-second closing frame helped Dunbar Hall win by 3-1/2 lengths over Grana Padanno in 1:53.4. Catch The Dream was third.

Stephanie Jamieson trains suddenly-streaking performer for owners Carl Jamieson, Thomas Kyron and George Harrison. The connections watched Dunbar Hall improve his overall record to 8-9-0 from 29 assignments. He’s quickly closing in on $150,000 in career earnings.
