It has been reported that officials with Plainridge Raceway in southern Massachusetts will find out this week if the track will land the coveted lone slot parlour licence.
An article by Belmont Patch explains that track officials are expected to know the outcome either on or before Friday, February 28.
Plainridge and Penn National have proposed to build the PlainRidge Park Casino if the raceway location is awarded the licence.
The report states that the licencee will have the right to install 1,250 slot machines, but no table gaming.
