It was worth the drive to Fraserville for Tuesday evening’s 12-race card for driver Mario Baillargeon, who found his way to the winner’s circle six times.

Baillargeon, a regular on the WEG circuit for more than a decade, kicked off the card winning the opener in gate-to-wire fashion with Windsong Experanza (1:57) before returning to victory lane in Race 3 with Dear Aryss (1:56.4).

Trainer Ben Baillargeon supplied Mario with his next two winners – Majestic Mystic (1:58.4) in Race 4 and Limitless (1:59.4) in Race 6. A narrow triumph with the Dave Brown-trained Machinist (1:57.3) in Race 7 followed by a come-from-behind tally with the Richard Moreau-conditioned Harnessnitencanada (1:54.1) in Race 10 capped off the solid night at the office for the sulky sitter from Acton, ON.

Baillargeon, who will soon surpass 50,000 lifetime driving assignments, is a career winner of 7,255 races and purse earnings in excess of $87 million.
