Lady Elements champion Thats It ($4.80) resumed her winning ways at Fraser Downs on Friday night (December 7), going from last to first in the $12,000 Fillies & Mares Open Handicap Pace.

With Preston Shaw picking up the catch-drive, the Gord Abbott-trained Thats It trailed the six-horse field early on before following the cover of Mach And Roll Baby and then racing three-wide down the backstretch as the outer mares applied pressure to the pacesetting G Ts Jamie. After leading through fractions of :28.3, :59.2 and 1:27, G Ts Jamie was headed by Mach And Roll Baby, but Thats It overtook her in the lane to prevail by a half-length in 1:56 flat. Her Own Land closed widest to finish less than a length behind in third.

Thats It, who equalled the divisional track record in her Lady Elements elimination before taking the final last week, notched her fourth straight victory and 11th of the year from 38 starts to tip her seasonal earnings over the six-figure mark. Owned by Lorne Duffield, Jean Crochetiere, Rod Hennessy, the four-year-old daughter of Dragon Again now boasts 20 career wins and is approaching the $200,000 mark in purses.
