Veteran horseman Gord Abbott's Sunday (December 3) training triple at Fraser Downs was a family affair.

After teaming up with driver Paul Davies for his stable's first victory of the day with three-year-old filly Authentic Pizzazz ($4.70) in race two, Abbott put his sons to work.

John Abbott steered two-year-old filly Custard Lite ($2.30) from last to first beating older rivals for a maiden-breaking win in the 10th race then younger brother Mark closed out the 12-race program aboard the repeating three-year-old filly Primara ($5) to complete their father's three-win day.

Authentic Pizzazz and Custard Lite are both owned by Alberta's Lorne Duffield and Rod Hennessy while Primara is a Seaspray Stables homebred.
