Eight Straight For Docs Moonlite

In her first race since mid-November, Docs Moonlite showed no signs of rust en route to her eighth straight win on Tuesday night at Windsor Raceway.

With driver Kevin Hough at the lines for trainer Rob Harmon, Docs Moonlite methodically stalked pacesetter Battle Plan (Marc St. Louis Jr.) from the first over position before eventually wearing down the game 14-1 shot to hit the line a length to the good. The time of the mile was 1:58.2 on a snowy, blustery night in Windsor where the judges graded the track two seconds off.

E C S Racing LLC of Rockford, Mich, holds the papers on Docs Moonlite (Cams Eclipse - Mailorder), and co-owner Ed Sayfie told Trot Insider that the sophomore pacing filly will be taking on some tougher competition up Highway 401 with her next start planned for Woodbine Racetrack.
