Trevor Henry showed no mercy to his sulky-sitting counterparts Saturday evening at Woodbine Racetrack thanks to his five-win performance on the 11-race card.

Henry got the ball rolling with Mileys Big World (1:53.1) in Race 3, and he returned to victory lane in Race 5 thanks to a gritty score with trotter Cal Chips Brother (1:54.4). He guided Hldontghttoyurdrms (1:54) to a gate-to-wire score in Race 8 before rallying Vegas Rocks (1:51.4) to a come-from-behind tally in Race 9.

He capped off his big night at the office with Il Sogno Dream in the $34,000 Preferred Trot. The four-year-old son of Cantab Hall made his move to the lead in the backstretch, and once he cleared it was ‘game over’ for the others. He fronted the field through panels of :58 and 1:25.3 before using a :28.3 kicker to win by 1-3/4 lengths over Whiskey Tax. Flanagan Memory came on strong to finish third.

Victor Puddy trains the four-year-old son of Cantab Hall-Le Reve for the partnership of Bill Manes, Dan Manes, Leonard Christopher and Randy Christopher. It was the seventh win of the year for the 15-time winner who lifted his cash stash to $722,409 with the tally.

Earlier on the card, Prescotts Hope sprinted to the front and didn’t look back en route to a dominant score in the $34,000 Preferred Handicap for pacers. Phil Hudon put the pedal to the metal with the Mike Brealey pupil, and the free-legged campaigner posted panels of :26, :55.1 and 1:22.1 before scooting home in :27.1 for the facile win in 1:49.2. It was 6-1/4 lengths back to runner-up Thunder Steeler, with Nirvana Seelster hauling home third prize.

Sent off at odds of 7-1, the five-year-old son of No Pan Intended-How Great Thou Art won for the seventh time this season from 30 trips to the track. He’s banked $93,000 this year and more than $134,000 to date.
