Check Me Out, the 2011 Two-Year-Old Filly Trotter of the Year and the 2012 Three-Year-Old Filly Trotter of the Year in both Canada and the U.S., has been retired.

Check Me Out finished her three-year-old campaign in 2012 with the most earnings ever by a filly trotter over her freshman and sophomore seasons. She retires with lifetime earnings of just over $1.9 million.

After her three-year-old season, the Ray Schnittker trainee was the world record holder in three different categories -- two-year-old on a five-eighths mile track (1:53.2f), three-year-old over a mile track (1:51.2) and three-year-old over a five-eighths mile track (1:51.3f).

Check Me Out (Donato Hanover - Illusion Bi) is owned by Steve Jones and Ray Schnittker and will be bred to Credit Winner in 2014.
