Successful Sale In British Columbia

Officials with Harness Racing British Columbia have announced the results of its 2016 yearling/mixed sale and have stated that the gross sales almost doubled last year’s numbers.

The organization has announced that the HRBC yearling sales were up 23 per cent. The organization has said that enthusiastic bidding saw gross sales almost double from last year to $454,250.

Surdale Farms' Safety Second topped the sale at $22,000. The colt is by Al Neurauter and Surdale Farms' Custard The Dragon and is the first foal out of Jans Rich Girl. Safety Second was purchased by Don Bryne Stables of Alberta.
