Driver Louis-Philippe Roy returned to Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday night (November 26) and stole the snowy show with five wins on the 12-race program.

Roy made his first winner's circle appearance of the night after guiding trotting mare Missys Ga Ga ($3.60) to a narrow victory in the second race for trainer Dany Fontaine. Roy won back-to-back races as the Yves Tessier-trained pacer Bet I Can Fly ($3.60) widened his lead to 11-1/4 lengths. It was the first of two wins for the hot Roy-Tessier combination.

Beach Boy ($4.10), also driven by Roy, posted the biggest winning margin of the night in the fifth race as the Francis Richard-trained pacer left his rivals 18-3/4 lengths in arrears.

Twelve-year-old trotter Four Starz Speed ($3.90) held on by half a length to win the seventh race for conditioner Gerard Demers and the Tessier stable's Eternal Ruler ($7.20) gave Roy his fifth win on the card in the following race, pacing to the one and a quarter length victory.

Roy is currently enjoying a career-best season in the sulky with his mounts winning 348 races (second-most in Canada behind Bob McClure) and earning $5.37 million in purses.

Sunday night's co-featured $8,550 Winners Over Handicaps went to pacer Killer Fashion ($10), a 1:55 winner in wire-to-wire fashion with Brett MacDonald in the bike for trainer Karen Kroeger and co-owner Gilles Plourde, and Saul Mendelson's trotter Ghirardelli Lindy($29.10), who also wired his rivals, in 1:57.3 with Richard Simard aboard for the Robert Dube stable.
