Super Final winner St Lads Popcorn took her fourth consecutive victory in her $41,047
Ontario Sires Stakes Trillium Series division for freshman pacing fillies tonight at Flamboro Downs.

With Jason Brewer at the reins the Twin B Champ filly, who went off at odds of 1-9, found the front easily from the inside post and led the field through panels of :28.2, :58.4 and 1:28.1 before hitting the wire in 1:57.

Icey Breeze (Doug McNair) rode the cover of third-place finisher Star Gazed (Paul Mackenzie) before making a three-wide decision at the third quarter station and finishing two lengths behind the winner.

Jack Darling owns and trains St. Lads Popcorn, who bumped her bankroll up to $582,846 with her 11th win in 14 outings.

In the first $41,747 division, Scott Zeron used a first over trip in rein to the 9-5 second-choice, Free N Easy, to prevail by three-quarters of a length ahead of the pacesetter, Shellace (Mike Whelan), in 1:57.3. Stonebridge Breeze (Doug McNair) was third.

The daughter of Western Ideal, who is trained by Blair Burgess and owned by Robert Burgess of Campbellville and Karin Olsson Burgess of Milton, Ont., made her second trip to victory lane in eight starts and increased her earnings to $37,973.
