Junebugs Baby converted a pocket trip into his 21st career win on Sunday afternoon in Truro Raceway's top class with Todd Trites subbing in the sulky for trainer Fraser Turnbull.

With the inside advantage, favourite Dirt Track Momma and Darren Crowe led the field of six in the $1,275 Winners Over Pace through fractions of :27.1, :56.3, and 1:26.4 before pocket-sitter Junbugs Baby surged by in the stretch to win by two lengths in 1:57 flat. The 5-2 second choice paid $7 to win. Sf Razamatazz and Mark Whidden came from last to show.

Turnbull bred and co-owns the four-year-old son of Western Paradise, who has now won seven of his 21 races this year. Lifetime, the consistent pacer has hit the board in 36 of his 42 starts.
