Despite not competing this year, the name and image of popular pacer Wiggle It Jiggleit continues to make headlines and appear both on and off the racetrack.

Last Wednesday, a maiden Thoroughbred filly made her pari-mutuel debut at Gulfstream Park West (formerly Calder Race Course) in Florida. The name of the Tiago - Sugar Dame sophomore? Wiggle It Jiggleit. And just like her Standardbred namesake, she was victorious in her first lifetime start. Track announcer Peter Aiello tipped his hat and acknowledged the Standardbred-based inspiration for the filly's cheeky name in the stretch drive.

Earlier this year, the original Wiggle It Jiggleit was prominently featured with owner George Teague and Teague Stables in a music video by Delaware-based hip-hop artist Amillion The Poet. Teague toldTrot Insider that the video was filmed at his farm in the spring. "He's got a lot of great ideas," Teague said of Amillion.

Teague and Amillion (born Lucas Amillion Mayfield) teamed up earlier this year to award two $2,500 post-secondary scholarships in the state of Delaware.
