Wildwild Men had no luck when asked to race from off the speed in the Preferred 3 for trotters at Flamboro Downs on September 22, but a front-end approach helped the trotter produce a winning effort at the same level on Thursday evening.

With Robert Shepherd at the lines, Wildwild Men shot to the top and led the field through fractions of :28.2, :59 and 1:29 before slipping home in :30 to win by 2-1/2 lengths over Were Rolling in 1:59. Third prize was earned by Meadowview Cliffy.

Quebec partners Catheline Pelletier of Mirabel and Chantal Gravel of St-Cyrille-De-Wendover watched the three-year-old son of Muscle Mass-Seeyouinthecircle win for the fifth time this season. The 10-time winner has stashed away more than $130,000 to date.
