Multiple world champion Pet Rock will stand at stallion duty in 2014.

The four-year-old son of Rocknroll Hanover - Casual Beauty, bred in Ontario by Angie Stiller, has been campaigned throughout his racing career by Virgil Morgan Jr. and owned by New York's Frank Bellino.

After a three-year-old campaign with stakes wins in the Art Rooney and the Windy City while banking over $933,000, Pet Rock kicked it up a notch at four and established new world records on a half-mile track (1:48.1h at Delaware) and a five-eighths mile track (1:47.2f at Scioto).

With two world records and his lifetime mark of 1:47 taken in the 2013 William Haughton Memorial Final at the Meadowlands, Pet Rock was just one-fifth of a second away from being the fastest horse over a half-mile, five-eighths and one mile track. He currently boasts 14 career wins and over $1.7-million in purses, and will look to add to that total this Friday in the $222,500 Hoosier Park Pacing Derby.

In 2014, Pet Rock will stand at Midland Acres in Ohio for a fee of $6,000.
