Spreester retook the lead past the quarter and rolled to her second straight victory — and 11th this year — in Monday’s $20,000 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Spreester grabbed the early lead for Aaron Merriman but briefly released Aniston Seelster. Spreester powered back to the front, put away the first-over Show Runner and prevailed in 1:53.1. Aniston Seelster held second, 1-1/2 lengths back, while Show Runner saved show.

Bill Bercury trains Spreester, a five-year-old daughter of American Ideal-Rodeo Spree who lifted her career bankroll to $524,576, for Renee Bercury.

Tony Hall piloted three winners on the 14-race card while Trainer Kris Hite and owner Wendy Ross teamed for three victories.
