It was announced earlier this week that a partnership between the Red Mile and Keeneland will see the Lexington Standardbred track renovated and expanded in order to house 1,000 ‘Instant Racing’ terminals, which are also known as the slot-like ‘Historical Racing’ machines.
Some details regarding the partnership were announced earlier this week.
The joint venture has retained the award-winning architectural firm Integrity/Architecture to renovate and expand the Red Mile’s existing facility.
The projected opening date for the upgraded facility is September 2015.
