There’s been no stopping Tajmeallover in recent weeks at Century Downs, and it was no different on Saturday when the pacer looked to keep the ball rolling in the $10,500 Fillies & Mares Open Handicap.

With J.F. Gagne at the lines, Tajmeallover settled away fifth while American Passion and Nighttraintovegas took turns on the lead through fractions of :28.2, :56.4 and 1:25.2. Still holding down the fifth spot going into the final quarter of the contest, Tajmeallover rallied home in :29 to win by 1-1/2 lengths over Thats Extra in 1:55.1. Skade completed the Triactor ticket.

Sent off as the 1-5 favourite, the five-year-old daughter of Tajma Hall-Watch Over Me won for the 26th time in her career for Gagne and partners Peter Van Seggelen, Carl Warnaar and Joe Tinelli. The career winner of $169,366 boasts an impressive record of 11-3-6 from 22 starts this season.
