The Woodbine Entertainment Group is encouraging supporters of having expanded casino gaming at Woodbine Racetrack to sign petitions or pen letters which will be delivered Monday, November 5 during a scheduled City of Toronto Executive Committee meeting.

The news comes courtesy of a WEG release on the matter --- the contents of which appear below in their entirety.

The release states that the WEG presentations to Toronto Council on November 5 will, according to the release, 'be an appeal to Council by identifying the economic and social contribution WEG makes to the local community and City as an important gaming site.'

WEG is also utilizing a pair of online survey forms as conduits for customers and industry/horsepeople to submit feedback on the topic. WEG management will deliver the comments to the City of Toronto to be included in the decision-making process.
