Dreams Beachboy won the $9,000 featured pace at Vernon Downs on Saturday, October 21.
Dreams Beachboy, a five-year-old gelding owned by Crawford Farms Racing and trained by Gates Brunet, took control of the race past the three-quarter pole, advancing to a four-length victory in 1:50.1. Major Leaguer finished second with Let Foal Around third.
Dreams Beachboy, paying $6.10, won for the sixth time this year while picking up career win number 18. He was driven by Chris Lems.
Live racing at Vernon Downs continues on Thursday, October 26 with leg five of the Kindergarten Classic. The 10-race card starts at 6:45 p.m.
